Any applicant for an injunction is required to give the court an undertaking to abide by any order for damages which may be made if the defendant suffers loss as a result of the Order and the court is of the opinion that the applicant should compensate him. In Schmidt v Wong the Court of Appeal gave guidance on the procedure to follow in County Court proceedings where an application is sought to the High Court for a freezing order.
