Woven leather bags are such a hot trend that it’s not hard to see why woven materials are showing up in other accessories. People have been weaving leather for… well, pretty much as long as we’ve had leather! But I think it’s safe to say that it’s never been quite this decorative before John Hardy has combined unique cast sterling silver findings with woven leather to create his hip “ Dragon ” bracelets: Bottega Veneta has also created woven leather bracelets , this one is finished off with a traditional knot (used in horse equipment or as a decorative accent) and loop to close it: This bracelet, also by Bottega Veneta is a little different. I love the fun and unique shapes that are emerging in sunglasses this summer, but I’m not sure what I think about the Juicy Couture heart-shaped sunglasses. I’m pretty sure that I had heart-shaped sunglasses when I was in grade school and I absolutely loved them, but could an adult pull this look off? The clear pink paired with the burgundy gradient lenses with the round fat heart is a great design. I think these could work if you paired them with a flowy earthy look and wore them to a summer picnic or an outdoor folk concert. I would definitely not push the heart theme and try a Legally Blonde-inspired pink and red girly overload. Torrid does a fantastic job with stretch denim in their featured styles– I fell in love with the skinnies recently, and I can’t wait to pair them with something devastating like a pair of really high platforms and a clutch. Oooh– and maybe a clingy sweater as well! If you are sick of wearing jeans that are available in limited sizing, the good news is that these go up to Torrid’s extended size 5. Last time I was in Hawaii I was looking everywhere for a casual straw fedora that I could wear on the beach and then wear while walking around town afterwards.
