I was so excited to find out today that fabulous luxury hat designer Eugenia Kim has released a special lower priced line for Urban Outfitters called Eek!. Eugenia Kim is one of the biggest names in the hat industry, so it’s amazing that this collaboration will feature hats and hair accessories for less than $50! The designs are vintage-inspired, but incorporate subtle modern detailing with leather, chains, and animal print that will fit in perfectly with the rocker styles that are popular for Fall.

Elastic does have some benefits – it’s instantly easier to fit a shoe, no more fussing because it’s a half size too small in the heel and too large in the toes. It’s forgiving to wear and moves with your feet.

I know that I’ve posted about a lot of straw fedoras this summer, but they really aren’t as easy to find as you might think…so I tend to want to share a find when I see a good one! There is always such a huge selection of winter fedoras and it’s not as easy to find a light and breezy straw fedora that you can wear in the summer. The fedora is a great hat because it falls in line with the menswear-inspired styles that we are seeing so much of lately. We will be seeing many more fedoras and other typically male hats with feminine details in the Fall. This is probably my favorite straw fedora that I have found this summer. It is cute and light and affordable! It has just the simplest design that works.
