Here are my picks for the top women’s hat trends for this fall: decorated cloche – The cloche made a huge comeback last fall, so definitely expect to see this style out in full force. The plain black cloche has already been done, so this fall there will be lots of creative embellished options with lots of colors, materials, and decorations like feathers, flowers, and chains. Mesh details are showing up in an unexpected place – shoes for Fall & Winter! I’ve already written about some of Christian Louboutin ’s new mesh-detail shoes – but he’s not the only one getting into the sheer fun. Dior , and Jimmy Choo both have mesh shoes for Fall 2009 . Of course, if you’re going to rock the mesh look, there is a time and a place for it… In my neck of the woods, winter involves some serious snow and cold – which is just not so practical for high heeled mesh shoes!
