Beach Day — Costa Maya, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico
Jump to the full entry & travel map Costa Maya, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico Man – what a change! We were here about 6 years ago and Mahahual has really changed! It’s still the fun “little” beach town, good for a beer, swim and sun. The bus “cab” takes you into town for $3 per person and makes 2 stops – first at the Tequila Beach Club and then “downtown”. The strip has many restaurants and souvenier shops.

I’ve been piping designs on cookies for so many years, it never occurred to me to use edible icing sheets (why would I use a picture of something when I can just pipe anything I want?) What a fool I’ve been. These gorgeous icing sheets from Ticings for cupcake and cake decorating have totally changed my mind.
