Jump to the full entry & travel map Sapa, Vietnam Since I had some time to spend while waiting for my Indian visa, I booked a tour to Sapa, which is a small town in the mountains. It is apparently a very popular place to visit, as all travel agents in Hanoi organize tours there. We’d been really enjoying the trains, but now we are at higher altitude, there aren’t any trains and we had a choice of 40 pounds for a 40 minute flight or 10 pounds for 10 hours on a bus, so this was an easy decision
